The Lumen Prize

The Lumen Prize is an annual juried competition celebrating art created with technology. Now in it’s 8th year, it has awarded over $70.000 to artists from around the world

I took care of the Lumen Prize’s websites and ran the online competition for three years. I started as an art technician, installing projectors and pulling cables for exhibitions. Before becoming Assistant Director, I was Lumen’s webmaster, taking care of the servers and making sure the website looked fresh. Back then, the main website was built with Drupal and wasn’t easy for my peers to update. We moved on to WordPress, for which I built a custom template allowing us to store a lot more information, stay clear and on top of all our activities.
